Al Hassan Toastmaster wins two awards (26 March 2011)

Al Hassan Toastmasters Club (AHTC) made its mark by winning two awards in the Toastmasters International Speech Contest held in the District -79, Division -D, Area -67 on 25th March 2011 at NTI Al Khuwair.

This was AHTC’s maiden participation in such a contest which also saw participation from ABC & Khimji Toastmasters Clubs. AHTC sponsored the event and AHTC’s President Mr. Sanjay Khandagle was the Contest Chairperson for the Table Topic Contest.

4 Al Hassan Toastmasters took part in the various contest categories; Mr. Sanjay Khandagle (International Speech contest); Mr. Shahid B. Malik (Table Topic & Humorous Speech Contests), Mr. Sreekiran Vaddi (Table Topic & Evaluation contests) and Mr. Madhan Kumar (Evaluation contest)

Mr. Shahid Bashir Malik, VP - Membership, AHTC did Al Hassan proud by securing runners-up position in both Table Topic & Humorous Speech Contests.

With these wins, Mr. Malik is eligible for upcoming District level contests in April 2011.

Corporate Management congratulates him and hopes he will bring more laurels in the future contests representing AHTC.

4 Al Hassan Toastmasters - Mr. Siraju M (Registration Counter), Mr. MK Praveen (Sergeant at Arms), Mr. Siva K (Time Keeper) and Mr. Zavvar Abbas (Tally Counter) made a strong contribution as part of the organizing team.
