AHEC recruits nationals as part of Omanisation Strategy (08 May 2008)

Al Hassan Engineering SAOG (AHEC), as a part of its drive to support the national manpower, has been recruiting educated and talented Omanis.
In this regard, Mr Mohammed Khamis Al Khabori, GM - HR & Admin stated that the Company has recently employed Mr Falah Hassan Ali as Procurement Manager at AHEC. Mr Falah bin Hassan bin Ali has a very enriching and vivid experience in the field of procurement and contracts management with negotiation skills. Mr Falah has also experience in market survey for local suppliers and the pre-qualification of suppliers. Mr Falah worked for 2 years with Oman Petrochemicals Company and has also worked with Muscat Municipality for 5 years, where he gained vast experience while working in different departments like Technical Dept., Health Affairs and Warehouse. Mr Falah is a holder of B. Sc. Degree in Operations Management from Sultan Qaboos University.
In addition, the company has recruited Mr. Abdullah Ali Sarhan Al Raissi as Senior Engineer Projects who will work at Sohar Aromatics Project. Mr Abdullah is resourceful in Projects Management and Contract Management. He worked with PDO for 3 years as Production Technologist. Later, he worked with Oman Petrochemicals Company for 2 years as Contracts Engineer. Mr Abdullah was in charge of evaluating the tenders and technical affairs for Utilities and Infrastructure Projects. Mr. Abdullah graduated from Sultan Qaboos University and now he is completing his Masters Degree.
Mr. Mohammed added, "AHEC has obtained Green Card privilege by Ministry of Manpower which is given to the companies that have achieved high Omanisation percentage and also CVC issued by OPAL and that the Company is employing Omanis not only to match the set requirements but also to open the doors for national manpower."
