The seminar was graced by H.E. Dr. Andreas Karabaczek, Austrian Ambassador to the Sultanate, who highly commended the Oman’s transformation into a diversified economy and a modern industrial base. He appreciated the efforts of Al-Hassan Group/Hi-Tech in bringing in cutting edge Pipe Rehabilitation Technology to Oman in the form of Rabmer and hoped that this state-of-the art know-how will profusely benefit the Oil & Gas, Power, Water and wastewater sector in Oman in efficient maintenance and rehabilitation of their pipeline network. Mr. Maqbool Ali Salman, Managing Director of Al Hassan Group welcomed the guests and conveyed the pleasure of Hi-tech in associating with Rabmer-Austria for introducing their innovative and cost effective Pipe rehabilitation technology to the Omani industrial sector, which will go a long way in economizing the maintenance cost and ensuring longer life-span of Pipes. Ulrike Rabmer-Koller, MD of Rabmer Group, addressing the gathering conveyed immense delight in associating with Al-Hassan Group for catering to the growing demand of Pipeline rehabilitation and renewal. She said that Rabmer Group with its headquarters in Linz, Austria is a family owned company started by her parents 47 years ago. In the end there was a very interesting and interactive question-answer session where specialist Engineers and Consultants from amongst the participants from PAEW, MOG, Mott MacDonald, Energoprojekt, etc, asked various technical question about the benefits of the new technology, which was satisfactorily answered by Mrs. Rabmer and Mr. Hofmann. Mr. Samer El Eid, Senior Manager-Marketing of Hitech thanked the distinguished guests and participants and hoped that the effort of Hi-Tech to introduce world class technology in Pipe Rehabilitation to the Sultanate will benefit the local industry in providing efficient, continuous and fail-safe services to its customers and also reduce their operational cost considerably in the long run.
