Al Hassan MDC conducts Training Program on "Finance for Non-Finance Managers" (29 Sep 09)

The Management Development Center (MDC) of Al Hassan Group recently conducted a training program, "Finance For Non-Finance Managers" at the National Hospitality Institute. The program was a part of the Training Business Plan and the objective of the Top Management was to help the frontline managers to build their financial acumen for better business results. Financial acumen is one of the key competencies that is required for managers at all level in the company. Mr. Shahzad Sadan, GM-HR started with Introduction and a brief outline about the program.

The Program was inaugurated by Mr. Peter Hall, CEO, Al Hassan Engineering Co. SAOG. In his inaugural address, he reiterated the importance of understanding finance and how employees at all level need to build their business acumen. He also updated the participants on the good work done by the Finance Department.

The program generated an enthusiastic response and was attended by twenty employees of the Group companies. The program was designed and conducted by Head Finance-AHEC Mr. R. Gangadharan and Deputy Manager-Costing Mr. Sreekiran Vaddi. The program was coordinated by Mr. Sanjay Khandagle, Manager-Talent Management on behalf of the HR Team.

The program was totally interactive making it more interesting for the participants. The overall feedback from the participants was from Excellent to very good and they have recommended the program to all the employees in the organization.
