AHEC gives paramount importance to Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) so as to keep our employees and work place safe as well as to strive to achieve world class standards in HSE. Keeping this in mind, AHEC has executed a number of projects in Oil & Gas, Petrochemicals, Power and Water sectors without any lost time incidents (LTIs).

HSE Department also conducts HSE related training courses which are stipulated by Petroleum Development Oman and other clients. The training courses conducted internally are:

4.3 million LTI Free man-hours for Saih Nihayda Gas Project

2 million LTI Free man-hours for Shams Gas Condensate Project

5 years LTI Free for PDO Campaign Maintenance – North & South Oman

550 safe working days for Additional Flowlines Project

Significant LTI Free manhours achieved for ongoing projects are:

6 million man-hours for Sohar Aromatics as on 6th June 2008

5 million man-hours for Sohar Alstom Power Project as on 15th June 2008

3 million man-hours for Qarn Alam Power Station Project as on 6th October 2007

1 million man-hours for Mukhaizna Power Project as on 17th December 2007

1 million man-hours for Salalah Methanol Project as on 14th May 2008
